I met DD at the Blackpool Championships in March 05 - what a great guy ! He's a dancer, a dance competitor and a top DJ with a great love for, and huge knowledge of music, which is reflected in his fantastic music sets for Ceroc Stirling and his Amante Ballo playlist.
John Porterfield AKA Dance Demon....been Djing in one form or another for longer than he can remember, and dancing for about 6 years, with his lovely wife Irene. Creator and co-operator of Route 66 in Edinburgh, and Resident DJ for Ceroc Stirling. Although he now has a reputation for playing the smooth swing, latin and blues dance music that is becoming increasingly more popular at MJ nights, his really big passion is for 1950s RnB and Doo Wop.

SWING & BLUES ....Has played blues rooms for various organisations
ROCK'n'ROLL...Regular Guest at Club Radio in Edinburgh where he plays his favourite RnB & Doo Wop Jivers....and a little bit of Rockabilly
