Well Southport was an absolute blast - I ended up playing 5 hours of Latin, 3 hours of Blues and an hour of Tango over the 3 days.... which all adds up to lots of fantastic new tracks that I have added to the site. Particular Blues favourites of mine are: Cheaper to keep her by Johnnie Taylor, Travelling South by Vargas, The way she shakes that thing by Earl Thomas. Blues: I've been looking for some great blues tracks for my upcoming gigs at Southport in Sept 06. First up, Deanna Bogart's album Timing is Everything has 3 fab tracks, People Can Be Just Plain Wrong, I'd Rather Be Sad In Las Vegas and the altogether slow and bluesy I'll Be Missing You.

Christina Agulera's new album Back To Basics has some really nice blues tracks, Nasty Naughty Boy, Mercy On Me and Makes Me Wanna Pray

Big news is that Roomful of Blues are now up on iTunes. Red Hot and Blue and That's My Life from theThe First Album are current favourites.

A couple of nice blues tracks from Willie Pooch's Funk-N-Blues album, Same Old Blues and Everyday I Have the Blues.
