The simply wonderful Pink Martini are Amante Ballo's favourite artists. The 12-piece Portland, Oregon-based 'little orchestra' lies somewhere between a 1930s Cuban dance orchestra, a classical chamber music ensemble, a Brasilian marching street band and Japanese film noir is the 12-piece Pink Martini.

Having seen them in concert on 2 April 05 only reinforces our view that they are the most stylish, talented, diverse, inspirational and downright fabtastic thing on the music scene right now....
